1. Booking, Confirmation & Verification

All bookings submitted through our website or customer service desk constitute a service request subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability. A binding booking is formed when you receive an official confirmation SMS, phone call, or WhatsApp message with your trip and cab details.

Customers must provide accurate pickup addresses, flight details (for Patna Airport transfers), and active contact numbers. Saarthi Cabs reserves the right to cancel unverified reservations or bookings made with fictitious credentials.

2. Pricing, Tolls & Extra Charges

We pride ourselves on 100% transparent pricing. Standard quotes provided during booking include:

• Vehicle rental for the designated route or hourly package across Bihar.
• Fuel expenses and driver service allowances.

Additional Charges: Government toll taxes, interstate/state boundary permits, parking fees at airports/railway stations/monuments, and night driving allowances (between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM) are charged as applicable and clearly reflected on the itemized invoice.

For outstation trips, distance is calculated based on garage-to-garage or agreed point-to-point mileage. Extra kilometers or hours exceeding package limits are billed at standard vehicle rates per km/hr.

3. Customer Responsibilities & Conduct

Passengers using our chauffeur-driven rental fleet are expected to maintain courteous and respectful conduct throughout the journey:

• Timeliness: Passengers must board at the agreed scheduled time. A complimentary waiting grace period of 15 minutes is provided for local/outstation pickups (45 minutes for Patna Airport arrivals). Additional waiting time is charged at standard waiting rates.
• Seating Capacity: The number of passengers must not exceed the vehicle's legally registered seating limit (e.g. 4 passengers for Sedans, 6-7 for SUVs like Ertiga & Innova Crysta, 12-20 for Tempo Travellers).
• Luggage: Baggage volume must fit comfortably within the dedicated vehicle boot space without obstructing safety view or passenger cabin comfort.
• Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their valuables. While chauffeurs will report left items, Saarthi Cabs is not liable for lost or damaged personal property.

4. Chauffeur Duties & Road Safety

Our chauffeurs are certified, licensed commercial drivers who adhere strictly to road transport safety laws:

• Chauffeurs will comply with statutory speed limits, seatbelt regulations, and traffic signals.
• Drivers have the full right to refuse traveling on hazardous, unpaved, flooded, or restricted off-road terrains that compromise vehicle safety.
• Drivers are instructed to take mandatory rest breaks during extended long-distance overnight drives across Bihar/neighboring states to ensure passenger safety.

5. Prohibited Activities

To preserve vehicle hygiene and passenger safety, the following activities are strictly prohibited inside all rental vehicles:

• Smoking, vaping, or consuming illegal substances / alcohol inside the vehicle.
• Carrying flammable, explosive, corrosive, or contraband goods.
• Causing willful damage to vehicle upholstery, electronics, or bodywork. A professional detailing or damage fee will be levied for any spills, burns, or physical damage.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Saarthi Cabs strives for 100% on-time service delivery. However, we shall not be held liable for delays, missed connections, or alternate transportation costs resulting from events beyond our reasonable operational control (Force Majeure):

• Severe weather conditions, storms, heavy rain, or waterlogging.
• Unforeseen traffic congestion, road closures, strikes/bandhs, or government VIP route diversions.
• Mechanical breakdown (in which case a replacement vehicle or immediate trip credit will be dispatched as expeditiously as possible).

7. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or matters arising out of or related to our car rental and taxi services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Patna, Bihar, India.
