1. Cancellation Tiers & Timelines
Depending on when you submit your cancellation request prior to the scheduled pickup time, the following refund rates apply:
- More than 6 Hours Before Pickup: 100% Full Refund. Zero cancellation penalty.
- Between 2 and 6 Hours Before Pickup: 80% Refund (A nominal 20% dispatch & vehicle hold charge applies).
- Less than 2 Hours Before Pickup or Driver En-Route: 50% Refund to compensate the assigned chauffeur for mobilization and fuel.
2. How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel a confirmed reservation, you may use any of the following convenient channels:
- Call our 24/7 Helpline at +91-8507416624 with your Booking reference.
- Send an instant message to our WhatsApp desk at +91-8507416624.
- Send an email to info@saarthi-cabs.in with the subject line "Cancel Booking [Your Reference ID]".
Your cancellation timestamp will be recorded at the exact moment your request is received by our dispatch team.
3. No-Show Policy
A booking will be declared a "No-Show" if:
- The passenger is unreachable via phone or WhatsApp after the chauffeur has waited for 30 minutes past scheduled pickup time (45 minutes for Patna Airport arrivals).
- The passenger refuses the ride without prior notification after the chauffeur has reached the designated pickup location.
No-show bookings are non-refundable to cover driver compensation, vehicle mobilization, and fuel expenses.
4. Refund Processing & Timelines
All approved refunds are initiated promptly by our billing desk:
- Mode of Refund: Refunds are credited back to the original method of payment (UPI, Bank Transfer, Debit/Credit Card).
- Processing Time: Bank processing typically takes between 3 to 5 business days depending on your financial institution.
- Travel Credit: Alternatively, you can opt for 100% immediate Saarthi Cabs Travel Credit valid for your future journeys across Bihar.
5. Booking Modifications & Rescheduling
Need to adjust your pickup time, date, or vehicle category? You can reschedule your trip free of charge if requested at least 4 hours before the original scheduled time. Any fare difference resulting from a vehicle class upgrade or route extension will be adjusted accordingly.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
The following expenses are non-refundable once incurred:
- Interstate road permits and special commercial vehicle entry taxes that have already been issued by transport authorities.
- Special custom vehicle decoration or event equipment procured specifically for a custom booking.
